WHAT IS ROSACEA?

A chronic condition characterized by facial erythema (redness) and sometimes pimples.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS:

  • Rosacea is a chronic, genetic condition characterized by facial redness and sometimes pimples or bumps on the cheeks, nose, and forehead. Rosacea worsens over time and can be aggravated by certain conditions, such as spicy foods, extreme cold or hot weather, caffeine, stress, exercise and other triggers. It primarily affects fair skinned individuals, and peak age of onset is between 30 and 60.
